Folding Mechanism and Portability
Portability is a definite selling point for the Kugoo M4 Pro. The scooter folds down nicely and compactly which makes it easy to transport and to store. At 22.6 kg it is pretty lightweight for an electric scooter which has such robust and sturdy features. The folding mechanism feels pretty solid and it ensures the M4 Pro stays secure during transportation.
Battery and Range
The Kugoo M4 Pro comes equipped with a 48V 13Ah battery, which takes around 8 hours to fully charge, and this particular battery life makes for a reasonable range for urban commuting. The specs say 60-70 km or 37-43 miles range on a single charge which is very good, but you need to factor in the weight of the rider and the terrain that is being covered to arrive at an accurate range for your context.
It’s also worth noting that the deck of the scooter has a decent non-slip rubber surface which helps to prevent your feet from slipping which also also helps with safety.
Controls and Display
The handlebar is undeniably well-equipped with all the necessary controls, which include a key entry for ignition, as well as a throttle, mode selectors, indicators, a horn, and lights. The nice bright front headlight and deck lighting definitely improve visibility if you are planning on riding at night also.
